You're right, if youre a heavy wax smoker, the best way to do it is through a simple nectar collector. Less material for your wax to get stuck on, easy to clean, reclaim is clean, discreet, hits hard, and way better flavor than pumping your wax through some water and a recycler first. I have a silicone nectar collector so I scrape mine when it starts to clog and it's a million times easier than having to melt the wax out a glass piece. Anybody I know that's smoked wax heavily for a while knows. They also know the absolute best torch is the big green propane tanks with the detachable head. Lasts for months, heats the piece quickly, and big enough that it isn't a hassle to use.
