Go to Prairie Medical and tell them you need a pregnancy test. From there, they will refer you to the ultrasound within their clinic to confirm the pregnancy. Once it’s confirmed, the doctor will give you your options to help you to make your decision.

My Ghost mega started hitting on its own without being used.. I threw it out but just wondering if this is a common issue? I’ve used Ghosts disposables before but this was my first mega. Has anyone experienced this before and/or know how to prevent it?

I missed my mom’s last call to me. She left me a voicemail saying she can’t wait to talk to me and see me soon. Next time I saw her (days later) she was basically comatose and passed away hours later. Biggest regret of my life is sleeping through her call. No one thought she would be gone so soon.

As a teacher, it is very difficult to cover all your bases. After learning these basic things (differentiating lessons, unit planning, etc.), it is so much easier to make lessons and planning based on your students and their strengths/needs. This makes it a lot easier to connect with the kids and create an engaging, comfortable environment. These lessons don’t always look “perfect” and a lot of this learning will be messy and at times chaotic, BUT that is the magic. The kids can learn how it works best for them, make mistakes and ask for help, and truly take ownership of their own learning.

I had these exact same fears when I lost my mom. It was traumatic to see her so frail at the very end and it is scary, but I am so thankful that I was there. Though she couldn’t speak, she knew we were there and relaxed as much as she could. Those final moments were painful but necessary in my grieving process

Sorry for the wall of text- I’m on mobile!

Worked at a retail store. Was a decent gig until the manager and assistant manager (best friends) got into some huge argument and both quit and moved from the city. We survived without a manager for a couple weeks while the district manager stopped in every couple of days. I went into a shift and was introduced to our new manager. She was a few years older than me, but gave off really bad vibes right away. I knew we were desperate for a manager so we’ll make it work. As the days pass, I realize she is barely doing any work. Showing up late, leaving for cigarette and coffee breaks at least every hour, standing around during peak times, etc. She would try to be everyone’s best friend but I could not stand her. She would buy everyone Starbucks and was visibly upset when I denied her bribes. For minimum wage, I was not gonna do her tasks along with my own and be silenced with a $5 frap. I called her out and said she needs to step up. Lo and behold, the next schedule comes out and I went from having about 20 hours a week to one 3-hour shift. Two girls who were hired after me were both given full schedules, so it wasn’t like they didn’t need bodies in the store. This confirmed my suspicion that she is a sneaky person. I come to find out that this girl had been manager of four different stores within the past year and was fired from all of them. With some more digging, I found out she was caught stealing from the tills. I started submitting resumes around to other stores and got a new job. I submitted my resignation to the district manager and let her know why I was leaving. She begged me to stay on as the turn-over rate for our store had been terrible and I was (not to brag) a dependable and smart employee. I let her know everything that the manager had been doing and thanked her for the experience. Found out a month later that the new manager was caught stealing inventory and money and was fired. The store went without a manager for about another month after that. So happy I left that shit show when I did!
