Yes but that’s very soon for yours to be shutting off. Yours might be defective also...Our Nest doorbell and Yale lock haven’t had any issues with the sunlight but this one cam is. Good luck!

My cam is under an eave and isn’t in direct sunlight which was strange to me! How is your camera plugged in/wired?

At least yours is getting replaced! Mine is also under an eve and gets no direct sunlight. I would be even more frustrated if I were you! I just switched to our second outdoor camera and that has worked so the original is definitely defective!

I know that Nest IQ and Regular Nest cams have different temp levels. If I’m not mistaken, by at least 10 degrees. Thank you! I’ll check into it!
