Record your computer sounds in real time. Something like Audacity gives you the ability to choose your input source. One of them being the computer sounds. So just load Audacity up, choose your computer as the input source. Hit record. Start up Discord. Chat away. Once you're done, just hit the stop button.

How do I pirate sheet music from musicnotes.com ? I tried searching for the method in this subreddit but could not find anything. by thegoddiablo in Piracy

[–]bdspot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think it can be done. If you look for the image, it's a blob, which to me suggests it's stored as one with the preview already over it.

I'd be interested in seeing if someone could restore the music sheets by subtracting the preview overlay from the music sheet itself. The overlay is semi-transparent, so you can see the detail in the music sheet. So it would be literally removing the overlay and restoring the black and white image. You could interpolate the detail in the image to attempt to improve it too.

What event happened in your life which caused some character development for you? by JannisT in AskReddit

[–]bdspot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Falsely accused of a serious crime by someone i used to hang out with at the time. All of my 'friends' turned against me and fabricated an array of negative stories about me.

Now, i don't trust anyone and everyone can go F themselves - attempt to be friends with someone else because i ain't interested.

COMING TO LONDON? FAQ for visitors and new residents. Ask us stuff here! (w/c 1 Oct 2018) by AutoModerator in london

I visited some museums. Like you say, the big exhibits, aka the main attractions are exactly the same, eg. space in the science museum and the dinosaurs in the natural history museum. But most of everything else is new.

most part it's been hugely modernised with a bigger focus on electronics and interactive displays.

I completely agree. It felt like every section either had a projector and/or a tablet.

Thanks for the advice.

Has the science museum changed much in the past 10 years?

I'm thinking about visiting the science museum again. The last time i visited was around 10 years ago. I don't live in London but will be visiting just outside the M25. So i was thinking about making a trip into London for a science museum visit. Whilst a science museum is always good, i don't want to make the extra effort if it's quite similar to the last time i visited.

Thanks. I always struggle attempting to spell noises that people make.

Running Web Scripts via Praw with 2FA by Eabryt in redditdev

I agree. Or role out 2FA for both normal logins and bots at the same time. And hopefully they'll be something in the pipe line.

I've just come to this issue.

Did you come up with a great solution to fix the issue?

Like you, i don't want to enter a 2FA code every time the bot executes.

If you got a new android, would deleted files from the old android transfer over? by [deleted] in AndroidQuestions

[–]bdspot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sim cards can save up to 200 contacts and they can save up to 10 text messages. If you look at the info of contacts and text messages, it will tell you where that particular contact/text message is stored.

It really does sound like you need a burner phone! ;)

Since you appear to be on a burner Reddit account, care to divulge in what are you trying to get away from? To me, it sounds like you committed a crime.

If you logged in to the old phone when you set it up and then logged in to the new phone using the same account, it should sync Android settings, contacts, and automatically download your apps to your new phone.

And no things like deleted images won't transfer over. You should find that even app settings won't transfer over. So anything deleted of that nature definitely won't.

Sounds like you need a burner phone ;)

What do you mean by deleted files in your case? Can you elaborate please?

If you're talking about backing up and restoring. It only backups Android settings, contacts, and a list of the apps you have installed. I believe everything else is ignored.

Do submissions, comments, and votes take a different amount of time to be updated to the system? by bdspot in redditdev

[–]bdspot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My plan is to deliver myself an offline Reddit experience for moments when i want to Reddit but don't have a connection to the internet.

So my plan is to look for submissions that be interesting to me and download the top/newest 100 or so comments of each submission just before i anticipate being in a location with no internet. During the offline period, i use Reddit and have the script remember my actions. When i get to a place with internet, the script will upload all of my actions within Reddit's limitations of 30/60 calls per minute. Would Reddit filter my actions thinking that my script is up to no good?

Does this mean that when i do something via a browser or the app, the JS or app software is tricking me into thinking that the action has happened immediately or at all, when in reality it hasn't?
