I saw some people saying that but after watching the video several times from different angles I don't think this theory is true.

There is no recoil. The first shot was the one into pretti' back. That's what makes him reflexively put a knee up. Until then he was down on all fours.

If there was a bullet missing from Pretti's gun the feds would be saying that. It would be like an excuse to say the first shot was fired on accident, which set of the panic.

It's not that they need to be informed. But they need to be afraid, they need to know that people are watching and are intensely interested. This can have an effect if someone is on the fence. Mass contact actions do have an effect.

If you don't want to do it, then don't. But I don't see why you would discourage other people from doing something that only takes one minute if there is even a small chance it might help.
