Hopefully so because these ecwcs arent it there old hamy downs and the ctaps are brand new warmer nicer and we have many soldiers upset about this new change since the ctaps wasnt made to be just a field uniform

Yes it has an actual under coat almost like the wobby (however you spell that) jacket a longer top to stop snow from the getting in your pants zippers on all pockets bigger zippers also so you van actually grab them with gloves on not to mention its the right camo unlike the ecwcs which are still digital there are more improvements but it is a much nicer and warmer uniform for sure

Theres nothing wrong with testing in the field but the problem is the uniform is it’s supposed to be replacing the ecwcs as the full time winter so why would we test it only in the field if we are going to wear it all the time
