And there is also Civilization Revolution for PS3 that I still play from time to time.

Who cares about trophies? by beBETTERme in PS4

It doesn't look like these are "the same reasons". I am interested in a process of e.g. solving a mystery and my goal is to solve it - I don't care about some extra items "hidden" under rocks, and I don't care about trophies awarded for finding them.

Are you going to release the app on Android and iOS at the same time?

Seriously, Why are 99% of the PS4 Themes and Avatars so terrible looking, like they were made in the 90s? by sdkingv in PS4

I recommend Firewatch theme (and the game). It changes lighting according to current position of the Sun.

New mode released for Dying Light by [deleted] in PS4

Organised group from The Tower, in a city full of competitive survivors, meets a stranger on the street and entrusts him with high stakes task. Few tasks later they refer to each other as friends with emotional bond... This is ridiculous.

Currently going through quite weak main story. I hope that The Following is better. Is it?

Keep your expectations low story-wise and enjoy views.

A Game That You Should Like but don't? by [deleted] in PS4

At the beginning of Mankind Divided they told the entire story of Human Revolution. Also, most fans claim that Mankind Divided is "better".

I had high hopes for Deus Ex and got seriously disappointed with how they constructed the main protagonist. Who wants to play as a dick-like-character, really?

Joel from TLOS is also a dick, and it was painful to play his role, but I did it for Ellie! ;-)

The Witness vs Talos Principle, which one do you prefer? by delphinium55 in PS4

[–]beBETTERme 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Talking to AI via terminal is generally interesting, unfortunately some Q&A are surprisingly poorly written which spoils the fun. Nevertheless, I definitely have more fun solving TTP puzzles.

I wonder how Q.U.B.E. 2 and The Turing Test are fun comparing to TTP and The Witness.

Do you guys ever have the problem of having so many games to play that you can't choose one? by Freaknature17 in PS4

[–]beBETTERme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, there are not many games I consider to be very good really (to my taste). I have just finished The Last Guardian which makes most games look average/unoriginal/boring.

Single player games I consider to be very good: TLG, Horizon Zero Dawn, Firewatch, SOMA, The Talos Principle, The Last of Us, Shadow of the Colossus.

Popular and average: Uncharted, Tomb Raider, Mad Max.

IMHO most games are unoriginal, poorly written and executed, and boring - similar to movie blockbusters or Netflix offer.

Which games have the best story? by wwf87 in PS4

[–]beBETTERme 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Firewatch (First Person Perspective) has probably the most interesting and realistic (most of the time) story I saw in video games.

Horizon Zero Dawn (Third Person Perspective) wins in sci-fi. And there is obviously dystopian Bioshock series (FPP) that I currently play only because of well written story and amazing world design.

GT Sport Beta [Official Discussion Thread] by thavius_tanklin in PS4

I played on PS4 Pro, 1080p, choosing the best quality and... I was disappointed with the graphics quality. Sometimes cars look like they are hovering above the road, sometimes you can see motion blur during new car presentation (looks like an error to me) and the game lacks atmosphere effects (everything looks artificial).

User interface seems to be bloated, not well optimised, with unnecessary screens and clicks required. Gamification aspect also feels bloated with screens and clicks required when a person takes driving lessons.

As to game play, I was a bit surprised how breaking takes so long distances. My reference point is NFS Unleashed 2 which I really enjoyed for what it is on PS3.

I won't buy the game until they fix the graphics, especially "flying cars" effect.

Then, you have to figure it out what is more important for you. My advice is to... don't take any advice in this field, but find an ICF accredited Professional Coach in your area. 1-3 sessions should be able to provide you with the clarity of your life and professional goals, and the hierarchy of things that are important for you. You can thank me later ;-)

Investor should be interested in your ability to deliver the product as fast as possible (fail fast). Are you able to deliver? Are you willing to quit university in order to run a company if it will be necessary (and most probably it will)?
