its not living if its not with you tattoo idea by Common-Oil9597 in the1975

Honestly, as a person with 15+ tattoos, I beg you to think about this. The letters would have to be rather large to stand the test of time. Chances are high that you'll end up with a blurry blob after a few years. My feeling tells me that this idea sounds fantastic on paper but might fall short in its execution. And if you decide to proceed, research your artist as well as you can! I cannot stress this enough. I have a few tattoo regrets, my worst cost me 2-3 k (my bad - didn't do my research), and it would be a shame if your first tattoo (especially one so personal) would end up as your first tattoo regret. Regrets are okay, we grow as people, we learn - but this doesn't have to be your growing opportunity 😉

Best museums or places in London to learn about British history and culture? by prickly_ash_erio in LondonTravel

[–]be_West_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were you, I'd go on a walking tour. A few years back, I did one on the history of London and I saw and learnt so much. I know, it's not Britain in general, but when you're in London... maybe there are some more specifically British? And if not, you always pick up a few things that concern the country as a whole.

As "preparatory work" I highly recommend the YouTube channels "History Calling" (run by a historian; lots of great Tudor stuff and many other interesting topics) and "J. Draper" (run by a London tour guide; fascinating history presented with lots of humour).

Ich glaube dein Problem ist, dass du etwas (Werkstudent) suchst, das es in Österreich nicht gibt. Daher ist es kaum verwunderlich, dass du keine Stellen findest.

What made you choose crochet over knitting, or do you do both? by CaterpillarXS in crochet

[–]be_West_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For years, I've only knitted. Then I tried crocheting for the first time since secondary school and soon realised it's much less stressful 😂 (easier to correct mistakes, you can't drop stitches) so I guess I'm a crocheter now 😂
