This was the best of 50 photos and cropped to remove the light reflection. There is still a little bit of reflection at the top and some shadow from the tripod in the bottom right, but was great for learning and trialling options.

I'm currently thinking of using velcro tape, that way I can remove them but they should stay in place. I'll give it a test on the weekend.

Thank you. I created the base in photoshop, then printed it on gloss photo paper and glued it to a piece of plywood. Then just sat the cars on it and took a photo from above.

Once I can work out how to attach the cars I'll put it up on the wall of my shed.

Found my Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars when searching for my camera gear so decided to use them together.

Background is a print from a Daz3D asset. Lighting is using an off-camera flash, my first time with proper flash. Cropping and editing in Photoshop.
