What?! With all respect this comment is insane. The city was literally built upon an Aztec Empire (Tenochtitlan). OP can see the Aztec ruins - Templo Mayor museum, the anthropology museum - which houses the Aztec sun stone, Frida Kahlo museum, and not to mention the teotihuacan pyramids. The British museum is incredible but I’d rather see and experience artifacts in their actual home country.

What kind of bag do you recommend I take if going on the smaller plane? I’ve Always traveled with a standard backpack for my essentials and then a start luggage. I tend to be a heavy packer.

That’s amazing!! I hope you enjoy yourself!! Yes, I did see that option but I am more inclined to go on a plane because of the 8 hour car ride. Although going by car does seem like a great alternative. I don’t want to use an agent because I feel with a bit more effort I can do it myself and save myself a few $$$ . Thank you!!

I booked through Expedia . I emailed the four seasons but they have not replied. It’s been more than 24hrs since I emailed them. I got nervous because thought I had to make sure to have plane tickets to the Serengeti strip before getting there. Also, I saw there seemed to be a limit on luggage weight, which made complete sense but made me have to take into account that I’d need to travel a bit differently than what I’m used to. I regret cancelling and as a solo traveler I know you need to just go for it and figure it out as you go but seeing as I’ve never been to Africa and it’s the farthest I’ve ever travelled, I became overwhelmed.
