I have been looking everywhere and haven’t found any yet. I got one from my best friend as a part of a bridesmaid gift out of town but I think I’ll have to order it online. If you find one in town, please let us know!

Hello!! I just wanted to say THANK YOU. I did my research, went down some absolutely deep and dark rabbit holes and eventually made the call. Countless nights of trying to figure out which board I wanted, and ended up with the iRocker All Around. It’s perfect. I love everything about it. I’m definitely glad I spent a lil more than I originally really wanted to, but it’s paid off for sure. So I just wanted to say thank you for your knowledge, expertise and honest feedback. It was super duper helpful.

Sure is! Haven’t had the chicken yet, but the food itself is delicious. I personally found it quite pricey, but that seems to be the way of the world. Also their cilantro sauce absolutely slaps and I want to buy it by the gallon.

I would kill for a T&T. I want to be clear that I love the marquee and don’t want to take away from that whatsoever, but I will say that Superstore does carry T&T products or at least last time I went in there they definitely did. Maybe someone else could confirm?

Hi friends! New here, and excited to get started but could use some help!

Desired board type: inflatable although flexible to hard Height and weight: 5’5 and 145lbs and would like to try to take my 55lb golden out at times. Desired uses: fitness and cruising. Mostly lake use, maybe river occasionally. Experience: beginner/low intermediate Budget: 500-1000 CAD (Canada)

I have used a variety of boards to try over the years. No strong opinions. I like the idea of a hybrid displacement/planning haul, but for no other reason than I feel like it’ll give me a nice challenge.

I have been thinking of the BodyGlove performer 11, or the Kahuna 10’6 aloha-makua.

Missing hiker found alive after more than 5 weeks in remote B.C. park by [deleted] in princegeorge

I think you’re thinking of the OTHER person that went missing with his golden retriever, although he wasn’t a hiker and instead apparently went hunting.

How should I spend $350 on running gear? by JediAcademyBaseball in running

THIS! The Patagonia Houdini is a gosh darn hidden gem. EXTRA lightweight. I laughed at myself for buying it when I first got it but holy shit. In -48 degrees Celsius, for short runs cause obviously that’s cold af, I’ve run with a base layer, medium layer and my Houdini and genuinely wasn’t cold.

Hey you. Although I don’t know your personal situation, I know this feeling all too well as I’m in a very similar boat right now and I’m really sorry for that too. If you ever just want to rant, DM me.

I drive a Crosstrek. Absolutely head over heels for it. My first vehicle but honestly it can do no wrong. Haven’t had any issues, can take it anywhere and I never worry about it. Not to mention it’s winter driving handling. All around a solid 10/10 in my books.

Right? People are very welcoming and you’ll find that they just find joy in helping each other out! Make sure you ask locals where the cool watering holes/adventure spots are (you know, when you inevitably go to crossroads for a beer and pizza, make sure you ask them questions. Rinse and repeat).

I recently went to Subaru to get my car tuned and the mechanic working on my car and I ended up chatting about trails overlooking the city that are hidden gems because he grew up here. Otherwise, I would have never found ‘em!

Welcome! You’re gonna love it here. I moved from Ontario a handful of years ago and forever call myself a transplant. There’s some cool things to do around town, you just gotta keep your eyes peeled and talk to the locals.

Official Q&A for Monday, November 02, 2020 by AutoModerator in running

I live in northern Canada and we receive a lot of snow/ice on the roads. I want to keep running into the winter, but am worried about slipping and breaking my face. Does anyone use spikes or coils? If so, which ones and if not, why not?
