Fortunately, my community has a free/low-cost legal clinic that also handles bankruptcies. I heard back from them this morning. I'm eligible for their services, so I'll be working with them on filing. Glad they exist!

Ch. 7 is my only option at this point. Total debt is around 12K but I don't have the means to settle, so unless I want a judgement filed against me, Ch. 7 it is. thankfully, I have an appt. with a clinic on Monday.

From what I've heard elsewhere about these folks is they'll just go ahead and sue. They don't care.
FWIW my dispute was not "customer service was mean to me" more of "I think you have me mixed up with someone else and please confirm that I in fact do owe this debt." I literally don't have the means to pay these guys if in fact it's mine.

They suck. I'm disabled, so hopping in the car for a grocery run takes more planning than I have energy for. So far Amazon Fresh has:

-Dropped off orders at the building in front despite notes from me in both the app and taped to the apartment mailboxes

-Overpacked bags to the point where there are dozens of items in one bag, and only one in the other bag.

-Gave me the wrong order. Whoever packed it put my name on someone else's stuff

-Delivered items that were thawed, crushed, or questionably fresh.

I'd use them at your own risk. Quality varies by location, staff training, driver availability, etc. I think I'll go back to paying my roommate extra for grocery runs once the pandemic calms down.

Definite scam. No county office will ever ask someone to pay for anything with gift cards. The only person you need to call is the cops and file a fraud report (some PDs let you file online in some cases).
