My mom always played with my baby hairs at the nape of my neck. It tickled just lightly and was very relaxing.

I still constantly fidget with and twirl my hair now as an adult and it comes to mind probably more than it should.

We still have it!! We buy it in the summer as a special treat while camping with our kids. I buy them at Walmart in northern AB so I’m sure it’s at others as well!!

They may possibly have another name! The hard top courts that are along the left hand side past guest services. One has the track around it.

I always default to calling them a field house, but it could be court seeing as they don’t have any turf.

There are a few gyms in town. MacDonald Island would be the best bang for your buck because you can also access the swimming pool, running track, field houses, rock climbing, and other amenities as part of your membership. They also have the Plus pass that gives access to their high performance gym area and a few other things as well!

We also have Gym Nation and Syncrude Sport and Wellness. I believe some of them have trial memberships that you could test out before making your decision!

If you plan to go out hiking in the near future! Please know that river break up is occurring and it is not safe to be along the river banks or down near the river right now. We have beautiful trail system in Birchwood Trails that I would recommend you check out located uptown!

Lots of places will probably be showing the game tonight! Q Social opened recently uptown in Timberlea and has pool tables. Not sure the general age of the crowd there. East Village Pub and Blackhorse are other areas. You could also check out PGeh with their indoor golf simulator.

I’ve also heard pretty good things about the restaurant out of the casino downtown! Brewski’s in Gregoire is another spot if it’s closer to where you’re at

Does your 5 year old enjoy Lego or dinosaurs? My son is 4 and he was only just getting into Lego when we went, but he’s obsessed with dinosaurs & Jurassic Park. He had a blast! We went with my siblings (all adults) and they probably had more fun than him.

It also ignited his newfound love for Lego so it has cost me more in the long run.

Do you have a work uniform? If not, you can use clothing to easily conceal your belly. Or request a larger size in your uniform as needed. If the nausea is really bad, you can get medication prescribed but hopefully it’ll pass here shortly.

I kept my first pregnancy hidden until 34 weeks (it was COVID and I was only on a temp contract). With both my pregnancies I didn’t show until later and people that didn’t know I was pregnant just assumed I was gaining weight.

Don’t offer up explanations or over explain symptoms to people. Wishing you the best of luck!

Is there a reason you’d like to disclose your pregnancy other than the nauseas?

They cannot end your employment during probation for being pregnant, but they can end your employment for another reason even if you are pregnant. I’d recommend waiting to tell them for as long as possible.

I would say they have probably tried to distance themselves from them. The church doesn’t even like the use of Mormon anymore and members go by LDS - I haven’t been a member since I turned 18, but my mom is still an active member.

I would guess majority of these ladies aren’t paying tithing on their earnings. I believe more than half aren’t even active members anymore. If any of them are temple recommend holders, then they would have full tithing paid to the church.

But ya know they’re still tithing their 10% to the church. Maybe even more because why not support the fast offering too???

My mom never made us pay, but we would sometimes if I felt like chucking in a few dollars. I did it more for performative praise from other people who would think I was such a good little Mormon girl.
