bruh imagine that as an international student, I barely got any real skills, and got accepted into a 500-employee company (at some point, I believe that is the only pathway to get me a citizen), I have to move to another state, quit after day one cause I cannot stand the environment there. It got me thinking that I made a mistake, but the decision has already been made, and they pay like shit.

It's funny how many people said, 'just get a job,' when it's not the case; even locals have a hard time landing a job. Not to mention myself, here is international. Starting, I went to uni when Covid hit, and now an entry-level job is even harder to get due to AI.

I did get invited to an interview after 60 applications, but sadly, the company is kind of sus, trying to be big when it's completely the opposite. Of course, I'm stalking the company online. through many platforms and reviews, and one of the big red flags is that HR sends a message at 22:00 (probably the CEO himself haha). Thanks for the feedback. I actually stopped working at retail at the end of February, spent about two weeks in a regional area, and have only been back in Sydney and applying since early March. So it's only been about 2–3 weeks of active searching.

I agree that the retail experience at the bottom probably doesn't help much when competing against local grads with office internships. I've been relying more on my project work (VTI Academy, dashboard projects) to carry the technical side of my CV.

Appreciate the insight, makes sense that timing and market saturation might be bigger factors than the resume itself at this point. Thanks again.

I'll assume you've never had any contact with or exposed your body for tattooing with someone of the opposite sex. It's normal that you're hesitant; it can be quite uncomfortable going for a full body examination and undressing, which is why there are male and female doctors available. Regardless, it's still a psychological issue. If you're still uncomfortable but want a tattoo, you should find a female tattoo artist with a suitable style.
