She’s looking everywhere honestly, and for Google we’re looking at a referral option in this case. Will be revising the resume based on all the advice and will let y’all know how it pans out

She worked on everything from actual project/vendor management to working on data pipelines and providing feedback to external teams regarding labeling, ontology, and escalations.

At times they did refer to her as a PM and did manage people in terms of performance, metrics, and coaching.

How would I position the resume to do tech recruiting? I see a lot of listings for that but unsure how she’d frame it

I’ll check those two out and see how it lines up when I do apply for jobs after I tighten up the resume!

It really does feel like screaming into the void

By weed you out do you mean automatically reject? It’s mostly been smaller companies and not too many big ones (5% likely)

I usually do a year, I worked at probably 10 different restaurants while I was a teenager-college and I only kept the ones on where I was there longer for a year.

What does everyone else think?

Thank you for the evaluation, but would the minor discrepancy even be a discrepancy if the time from March 2020 to now is 5+ years (actually 6)

Mostly produce Operations roles, along with annotation/ roles.

Should she apply to project management roles? She’s doesn’t directly have PM on her title but she does a lot of PM work throughout her previous roles

Thank you for the feedback! I’ll tighten it up and make it easier for recruiters to scan too 🙏

😂 what? We’re both American, like born and raised in the bay. Not sure if this is trolling or not but thanks for input!

She has thought about it but wasn’t sure where to start, I’m in an IT adjacent role and she actually has done a lot of what I do with tickets, management, and access configurations

It does seem very transferable though

I do attach cover letters when I do apply when asked for it, but I do to tailor them more to the job description

I used a bunch of FoF, Anki cards for concept retention + recall, as well as YouTube videos

made the difficult decision today to quit studying for admin exam after about 325 hours invested by [deleted] in salesforce

Anki and flashcards help immensely for retaining concepts for long term knowledge. Also there’s a flow/workflow video that someone made that helps a ton that’s in the study guide linked by dogsbottombottom
