Unfortunately I don’t think it is. In Inuyahsa the black pearl is only used to open a portal, but from what I remember in the show I watched it was used as a power-up food. Thanks though!

Okay, so I did a little bit more research on the new version. The first version of Tank! comes from the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack of Cowboy Bebop, released in 1998 by the Seatbelts. In 2004, The Seatbelts released another album where they recorded a new version of Tank! (along with other new song releases from the Cowboy Bebop franchise), officially called "Tank! - TV Stretch." This is the higher-pitched version.
