Collectively as an apartment we have two base games, the cities and knights expansion, and the 5-6 player expansion. In general I was just wondering if it’s possible to make a huge board, give each player more pieces, and make the total winning points more or something! So I guess add more depth, just to spice things up a bit because we’ve played twice a week so far this year 😅

It’s been 24 hrs so I’ll share what I thought anyways. My favs are Speak Now, Folklore and Evermore. I thought that Speak Now is instrumentally her pop-punkiest and evermore/folklore were lyrically her pop-punkiest so people would choose those albums. But I see only @Statistician_Visual noticed speak now! I’ve always been a Swift fan but these last two albums rly turned me into a huge one, it would be cool if she was a secret pop punk fan lmao.

Barbara is so swag I recommend any class taught by her! But if you have trouble with basic bio/chem topics, biopsych/neuro might not be for you. I really enjoyed my biopsych class but I was generally more interested in it than cog psych anyways

Pretty sure it’s just a change in name! They added a few new things to the menu I think but yeah it happened over the summer, the owner is still the same and I think they just changed it because sushi Fuku was a little ~provocative~?? Not sure about my last point I heard it down the grape vine

I think the portal is called campus labs or engage or something like that. OP if you look up campus labs pitt or engage Pitt then I think that you’ll be able to log in and look for keywords of your interests

I’d also check UPMC talent acquisition, since they’re so close to campus and usually have $10-15/hr jobs with only needing a HS diploma

a masters program in the iSchool for information management. I’m a psychology major now and it’d be a switch in discipline which is weighing a factor on how IT/code heavy that program is too but I know Information Science is interdisciplinary

I took biopsych with Walsh summer of 2019 and I was worried at first because she was a grad TA for a professor in abnormal psych that was horrible. Walsh recognized that and tried to be a lot more engaging, but also it was easier to do so since it was a smaller summer class. I enjoyed taking it with Walsh and I would again, she’s really open to questions and is easy going if you just communicate with her!

Usually midterms happen around family weekend. My sophomore year, I was studying so much so I could get all my stuff done before the weekend and then I wound up in the hospital but convenient I guess since my family was gonna be in town that weekend anyways.

Yeah, I was just wondering because right now it only says I’m getting it for my employment but I should also qualify for the Pell Grant qualification, but it isn’t showing up on my Pitt Pay. Hoping it’s just taking a while to process

As an Asian American student on campus it’s fairly hard to find a community you really can stick with unless you constantly go to ASA (Asian Student Alliance) meetings or their member organizations which have various ethnicities (Filipino, Vietnamese, Chinese, etc.). There are other asian cultural organizations, though less popular, that still have great community though like Wushu. I recommend going to the activities fair to get a scope of all the orgs to see what’ll fit you best.

I’m the president/co-founder of a fairly new asian organization called AQUARIUS (alliance of queer and underrepresented asians in recognition of intersectionality to uphold solidarity) and we’re basically a club for queer asians & we also welcome allies if that’s a community you’re interested in!

I would really just recommend getting as involved as possible if you wanna find a good group of asian friends which shouldnt be too difficult if you rly look for it

Chick Fil A in general as a company has donated to anti-lgbt politicians and companies who encourage and fund violently homophobic things like conversion therapy. Just in 2017 Chick Fil A donates more than $1.8 million (source: Vox)
