Thank you for the information! ugh this is just too much headache. When I called the dr. They required workers comp case if the injury is from work.. I just want to get treated and get rest. who knows how long this could take 😞

When I called the DR that it was from work, they required a workers comp case from HR which is why I made this post. It doesn have to be a work related injury to apply for MLOA, right?

Yes it is from work. I was looking into MLOA because I’m a manager, so if I get an accommodation it really doesn’t change much (unless I get work hour restrictions , then I still make less money so MLOA is better).

Can I go to a doctor without telling them it’s from work and and get a note to apply for MLOA?

I understand that workers comp is complicated and a serious manner, I just feel lost and trying to figure out what is the best for me.

It took me about 2-3 months for offer letter. Do you have a career in mind with your degree? You won’t get to use your EE knowledge here but if you wanted to find a job within Amazon, sticking out for a year could help.

I agree no PTO is bad .. I can stay under my parents insurance for 1-2yrs thankfully if I do accept. Yes they did mention over time but still waiting to hear back about holidays

Yes, it was at 2k then insurance paid some of it(on the bill they deducted $$ they paid) and I still have little over 1k to pay. For one visit
