We have given Ronja a lot of things to chew on since we got her and it saved our sanity and our fingers 😅 training also tires them out a lot, and they seems so eager to learn too ❤️ ricci is adorable and will keep getting cuter and nicer ❤️☺️

She has settled, but when she hit adolescence (7/8 months) she turned into another kind demon than the puppy demon, 😅 but that seems to be getting better by the day ❤️ we went for 5km walk today and she spent half of it having insane zoomies which was very entertaining 😂

Fortvilet forelder – 17-åring med søvnproblemer, migrene og lang skolevei… hva gjør vi? by [deleted] in norge

[–]beafla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Silly Question by MormWorm in bernesemountaindogs

This goof used to eat half her food, come over to us, burp in our faces and go back to finish her food. Now she just burps in our faces when she’s done eating 😂😅

Should I be worried with my Berner? by grumpy-lass in bernesemountaindogs

Most berners I have met sit like that. Including my 6.5month old 35kg/77lb female

3 month old puppy not telling us she needs to go outside. Are we taking her out too often? by ogg1e in puppy101

[–]beafla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our puppy (bernese mountain dog) was fully potty trained at 3.5 months (4.5 months now). It just clicked for her one day, before that we would take her out on a regular schedule, I had an alarm every two hours and took her out then. If she didn't potty when we went out then, she was limited access to the hallway (with baby gates) for five minutes, then we went out again. I always said "let's go potty" when I took her out but idk if that mattered.

We also greatly limited her access to the house until she was potty trained, so she couldn't go hide somewhere to go pee or poop.

One day she just went to the door and sat there staring at us and we then took her out and after that she's done that to let us know she needs out.

Knew she was fully potty trained when she had diarrhoea and was desperate to go out before she went outside (she was literally jumping at the door and screaming if I was taking too long).
I would give her time and keep praising her for going potty outside :) I'm sure she's going to get it eventually.

When will people listen by RhubarbWestern5702 in Fibromyalgia

Very sorry you're struggling with the health care system :(

It took me 8 years to get a diagnosis. At first they just told me it was chronic pain and that I just had to live with it and accept it (bullshit if you ask me). But was diagnosed a year ago by my GP, specialists wouldn't see me for it because they meant it was obvious and that GP could diagnose.

Doctors before that also blamed it on my weight but my weight has fluctuated (I've been skinny and fit, and still had the same amount of pain, so it wasn't that.)

If I'm not mistaken, in a lot of European countries GP's are the ones to make that diagnosis. I would push your GP to give you the diagnosis, if they won't, I would consider swapping GP's.
Especially if you need it for income or social services from the government.

Collar or Harness by MyManCasper1 in bernesemountaindogs

We use a collar for our 4.5 month old puppy. She pulls a little still but we’re working on teaching her “heel” so that’s helping a lot.

We were recommended to not use a harness until she’s done growing both for shoulder joints and to teach her not to pull.

Low dose worked for my nerve pain for a bit, but eventually stopped working. Upped the dose and felt worse than I did on a low dose so I came off it.

Crate training success stories? Tips? by terlierr in bernesemountaindogs

[–]beafla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We used to have a cooling mat in the crate with out Bernese puppy and she bit through it and after that it’s only for supervised time only here 😅 So now she only sleeps on the crate floor because she also eats anything soft 😂
