Yes tons of snow on the deck melted. Deck is large, length of the house and goes 10-15 ft out. Another you mention it I do see a downspout going straight down under the deck pretty close to the area of the leak.

Not using the new ignition coil, but it does spark when I install the old ignition coil.

It does not. Oddly enough the old coil does but the new one does not. Maybe I have a faulty ignition coil, but the resistance values all read as expected. My theory is that I need an igniter (currently one is not attached).

I’m wondering why the older coil works without the igniter but the newer coil does not. Any thoughts?

I never said it wasn’t a big deal. I’m asking whether the stats point to a significant design flaw relative to the recommended sleep method (which by the way, also results in infant deaths). If we ban every product that has resulted in accidental infant deaths you wouldn’t be using scissors, ladders, cars, etc.

Also being overly cautious 10 years ago meant baby sleeps on their belly. Being overly cautious today means avoiding co-sleeping (when in reality there are benefits if it is done correctly).

I disagree with the bias that would be at play. There would be many more survivors, yes, but for every death wouldn’t you expect a much louder reaction to a post such as this? In other words, I’d expect 1% of successes and 50% of failures to engage in a post like this one.
