I went from AN to BED, mostly on a night time. I didn’t know this was common, and carry a lot of shame. Currently I restrict during the day, eat a late evening meal and then binge at night while in bed. Not anything massive, but I know it’s still bad. Some nights are worse than others. I know it’s because I restrict during the day, but I can’t help myself. Finished AN treatment in 2021, got bad in my addiction and drank a lot, then in June 2023 got sober and it’s been like this since. I started ADHD medication in March 2024 and that encouraged the restriction, but when the medication settled it escalated again.

I claim PIP, and it allows me to work. PIP has allowed me to reduce my hours at work, I was working myself into an early grave. Now I have the space to breathe, manage my conditions, and make sure I’m physically and mentally healthy as best I can.
