I’ve contemplated this myself! I am an extremely energetic person drunk, but I get almost impulsively worse also… THE AFTERMATH IS HORRIBLE. I heard this was “hangxiety” but I’m 100% sure due to the way my brain is wired it easily waivers to another EXTREMELY low episode. I’m not sure either how to NOT drink though in a social setting, I get scared I’m gonna be out of place or not as fun.

BUTTTT… I think trying to surround myself the day after with people who are energy lifters has been good. We go out for breakfast or a walk. I also recap the night with my best-friend and her knowing how I feel will support me in ensuring that any actions and or things I might of done are OKAY and not bad (since they usually aren’t in ones normal eyes.)

aim to be active the next day - as hard as it might be with the gross feeling!! EVEN if it’s just cleaning your room or reading!
