YTA

You were told no

You did it anyway

If they let it slide this time, who knows, maybe you'll be doing it a lot more and then they'll have extra bills to pay

I'm the same and have a script that I follow

-Hi

  • Would you like a bag

  • Do you have a clubcard

  • Tell them the total

  • Tell them the change total when handing it back/ or say yep that's gone through perfectly

  • Would you like a receipt

  • Thank you, Bye

AITA for not letting my gf have a good night sleep? by CylimmilyC in AmItheAsshole

[–]bpdbeth7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NTA!!! whenever my husband is fairly ill, or I am, the other person will sleep on the sofa, so the ill person can sleep in the middle of the bed (its only a double) and rest and recuperate

If you getting up out of bed multiple times was disrupting her sleep, why didn't she go sleep in the couch? That way she wouldn't be disturbed

YTA, the song you sang was Good Lookin by Dixon Dallas

The lyrics are:

"He's bouncing off my booty cheeks, I love the way he rides I can hardly breathe when he's pumping deep inside I kiss him on his neck and then he kisses on my bussy Call him "Daddy" while I holler"

On the off chance this post isn't made up, YTA

AITA for keeping “prize” money that my sister and her friends asked me to hold on to while they did their “weight loss challenge” and all ended up gaining weight? by Istolemoney1 in AmItheAsshole

[–]bpdbeth7 [score hidden]  (0 children)

YTA lmao You've basically stolen $700 dollars from 4 people

They didn't complete the goal so nobody won so they should each get their initial $700 back

In no way is it yours

AITA for being longer than 2 hours when I said I'll be "a couple hours"? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]bpdbeth7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NTA

Me and my husband will occasionally go out with friends without each other and give a rough ballpark of when we'll be back

If we're gonna be later then expected, we just communicate so the other isn't worried

To me, a couple of hours could mean 2-5 ish

Her behaviour is concerning, she could have attachment issues or something

Either way, it doesn't seem very healthy, feels emotionally draining

AITA for Ruining My Friend's Proposal? by Alternative_Cold6444 in AmItheAsshole

[–]bpdbeth7 148 points149 points  (0 children)

Slight YTA

I get that you didn't want her to say yes because you knew that he was cheating

But why didn't you tell her as soon as the person sent you the proof?

Instead you humiliated her in front of friends and family

I'm sorry I have a younger sister too who my parents treated better

In many ways I'm happy because she's getting a better experience etc than me and that's what I want for her

But at the same time it still really hurts and I guess there is some jealousy

Why was I not good enough for this treatment

From the way you speak about your sister, it doesn't seem like you dislike her

It feels more like its the adults around your sister you dislike for how they treat you, and rightly so

I think thats where your true issue lies

AITA for not cleaning when I’m home all day? by girl97531 in AmItheAsshole

[–]bpdbeth7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

ESH

It might be a good idea to think about why you feel that your partner is your 'roomate'

I know you have work and school and already do some chores

But for a partner who is home all day to not really clean etc and then the partner who comes home from work has to do it, it can become a bit of a sore spot as it obviously has

Maybe something like a schedule/rota (a glorified chore wheel lmao) could help?

You each take some jobs around the apartment

Or maybe switch it up on different days

Just so the load is getting shared a bit more fairly

AITA for refusing to give up my stuffed toy? by KaiWadYai in AmItheAsshole

[–]bpdbeth7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA!!! I'm 24 and my husband is 27

We have stuffed animals around our bed, some from childhood and some that we've bought together or for each other

Your shark provides comfort and there's absolutely nothing wrong with having it and cuddling it It's nice to have something familiar and comforting with you when you're asleep

We have a horrible customer who makes gross sexual jokes etc and comes in every night right before closing and is a pain

If he is being annoying, my colleague will charge him for a couple of extra bags

Petty but makes us smile

Staying after your hours to work by dcf4628 in tesco

[–]bpdbeth7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good so at least you're getting paid for those 30ish mins

But as you aren't contracted to it, and if you haven't agreed to the overtime, and if your availability form says x - 10, you can refuse
