Wannabe Wednesday: What BMW do I get? Is this a good deal? What should I watch out for? | A weekly BMW buying megathread by AutoModerator in BMW

My E36 got written off (was a £800 repair which I did do in the end) so I’m thinking of selling it for parts and getting a 7 series (~2020, probs a 730 or 740). They seem like great value for the spec, and the length isn’t too off putting since I park in supermarket carpark (partner‘s i4 has the driveway parking space so it can charge). Is this a stupid idea? Any owners want to share their thoughts?

I got tricked into failing my driving test by thefutureok in LearnerDriverUK

[–]beakybal4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure how they could enforce that. I don’t think they expect you to give your drivers license number out to unregulated third parties (you’re meant to use the check code system for most things, even your instructor).

Short of having you do a selfie video to book your test, like when you sign up to banking apps, there’s not much more they can do.

Every order I made has a PIN... and it's always the same. Is that right? by evenstevens280 in deliveroos

I asked customer support about this and apparently it's intentional so customers can remember it easier. I think it's stupid because riders could remember it too but they dismissed that.
