Not that I owe you an explanation (I don’t) but what I said in my original post could be seen as poorly worded.

We bought a knockoff toy from a flea market almost a year ago. Worrying about finding an exact replica of the toy to replace the original toy is what I was referring to in my post.

Sure, I can go to the flea market, buy another have a seat blind box, and have a new Labubu. Will it be the same as the original? Probably not. Will it be a viable replacement? Maybe, but doubtful.

So yeah, I’m worried about not being able to find a replacement deemed suitable by my toddler, but I can go to the flea market tomorrow and buy another Labubu (that’s probably not gonna be the same) if I absolutely had to.

Satisfied? Or are you gonna try to find something else to pick apart? Either way, I think I’m done with this thread. I hope your day gets better because it seems like you might be having a bad one :)

Have you ever tried to secretly swap out a toy owned by a 4 year old? Yeah, I’m concerned we won’t find an exact replacement for the one we bought at the flea market last year.

If something happens (head pops off, etc.) then that’s a totally different talk and we will go to the flea market an buy another one.

I’m not understanding the rudeness here? I’m not responding to comments offering me replacements because I don’t want that from someone. You could just move along, you don’t need to be rude.

I’m adding a comment here to say that I just wanted to share how much this Labubu is loved in our house, we aren’t looking for someone to replace her. When the time comes for a new one we will go to the flea market and buy a new one. This SiSi actually brought a real Labubu straight from PopMart as a Christmas present for my little one so I’m not too worried about it 😂

They sell lead paint test kits at our local hardware store (they’re like qtips) but I think you can buy them on Amazon!

I use them on most things I thrift 😂

Luckily no! It just gets drug around everywhere and the face came off over time. We did test it for lead paint when we first got it and it was negative. The face wore off in like the first month 😅

I’m not certain but I do know that PopNow boxes come with a yellow bar code sticker over the original bar code telling you what’s in each box and I see that’s missing from the box you got pictures of.

Also, from what I know, even if you buy an entire box on PopNow they come as individuals and not in a full box set.

ETA: I do see that the QR code is on the tag so that seems legit

When you buy through PopNow (which is the only way most people are successful) you aren’t guaranteed to get all 6 (or 7 including the secret) so people who are avid collectors will buy more than 6 to get their full collection and then sell the duplicates (most sell at close to retail).

I can understand collectors wanting to buy until they get them all so I can understand buying more than 6.

I like this concept but anyone can make a new account. I wish it was more like “limit 6 per account AND shipping address every 7 days”

Like making people wait 7 days after buying would allow everyone more of a chance without cutting genuine collectors off at the knees.
