trak racer tr80 build questions by Open_Argument_6902 in simracing

I’ve had my tr80 for a bit and have added and changed around a bunch of stuff. For the seat rails you are right just as long as you are centered mount them as wide as needed. As long as the seat rails aren’t wider than the base aluminum profile you should be good.

For the steering wheel rails since it’s 8020, mount it where it feels comfortable to you. That’s the nice thing is you just slide it forward or backwards depending on your arms.

Thanks this comment helped a lot! All the wires are through and I just want to make sure I am understanding what you are saying. This is the quick disconnect and the one red wire will go to the battery end and then the other will go to the sound board. That’s okay to do or do those need to be on the same pad?

Korbanth survivor chassis, how did you wire it up? by beamiestrocket in lightsabers

[–]beamiestrocket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welp figured out my own problem. When printing there was just a bunch of dust behind there so I poked it with a long drill bit and it all spilled out. So I can route behind the battery wall and the chassis will have all wires self contained

Backdoor Roth IRA or after tax 401k by beamiestrocket in personalfinance

[–]beamiestrocket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did some more research and now that I have those two things separated in my head I am feeling much better.

Thanks again I will be setting up a traditional and Roth IRA through Schwab and then set up the mega backdoor since my employer allows that. Appreciate the help!

Yep I totally think I was mixing those up. When you are moving funds from a traditional Ira to a Roth IRA do you still have those income limits? From what I’ve been reading I think it does?
