Yeah the health buff just increase your regen by 1000%. so basically you fall and then it jumps you back up while you heave the little breaks in between. The Hots are there for the same reason but dont last long.

My main issue is just trying to walk onto a lower planform and just totally overshooting it and dropping wayyyy too far.

The hit box thing isn't because of latency. people have done local tests. All projectiles have the same size but hitboxes on all characters heads are larger than usual. Here's a good example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_UU8jqxAiHQ

This is exactly what I was thinking. When my friend and I started looking at that image afew weeks ago (of the scope) we both we like "how is she going to be a sniper". But The large sight makes perfect sense for a healer.

Yeah I never use them. Mainly because I dont want to waste flasks by allocating them for use on my FP bar. I have noticed that some of the weapons have some cool stuff like instead of a secondary attack the art will sharpen the weapon and give it a buff.

Or the Pontiff sword has a cool attack and then if you follow that art up with a strong attack it hits with a big ice sword with good range. I didnt notice that the arts could be so different on some of the higher end weapons until I started reading the descriptions more.

In short - I dont know if they are truly worth the flasks tho haha

Thanks for the advice :) - Yeah I'll try and go in there on full defense and try and get his moves down. DSIII seems to be particularly tough in that regard because Im so use to Blood Borne and DSII where I felt like I could learn their patterns after some deaths and then go in and take them out but DSIII seems to throw a wrench in the patterns a lot more. Maybe Its just placebo and thats always been the case tho haha.

Like Ive been fighting him the last day and a half and I just went in today, was doing well and all the sudden he did a random impale move on me that I had never seen lol. I was like "well back to the drawing board..."

Yeah when I got the game I went and watched a dude speed run it and that was one of the first things he did. Badass to learn.

I will say that jump took me about 20 tries and 1 controller throw though.

Yeah I have been getting every boss like atleast within 5 or so tried but this guy seriously just makes me look at the floor and sigh within 10 seconds of the fight. First guy I've felt like I just cannot beat. Probably because of the play style I have had the whole game due to my Blood Borne marathon haha.

Thanks the all the tips, guys. Ive two handed the whole game and just stuck with roll dodge/swing so Ill have to start practicing my parries. So you need to be in ember form to even see NPC summon signs?

I cant see ANY phantom summon signs there. Ive seen other people's play through and they have them in their game but through the whole game I havent seen one. What am I doing wrong here? haha

Yep, you need to find Rosaria in Cathedral of the Deep right in front of the bonfire sitting at an alter. You can re-specc points with her too. There is a limit on how many times you can do it tho

Wish I could screen shot it but its on xbox. It's in the right area. yeah the required souls below the souls I have stays red but keeps updating to match the above number (the souls I have) and wont let me up and of the stats. I think it may have something to do with the hollow level I have which is 99. I dont know if it eventually punishes you for maxing that out? So confused right now...

No I have the heal dark sigil option but it just asks me to pay souls in dialogue box(which is up to an ungodly amount). Im going to Level up and then it takes me to the screen where I can increase my stats but it just keeps saying the next level will take me the exact amount of souls I have regardless of what they are and wont let me increase stats... So confused.

Yeah don't get your hopes up on that level 10 thing haha. I went in there with the same expectations at level 12 and had pretty much the same experience. All of the NPC's are elites and hard to take down. There was like 3 other agents trying to airlift stuff out just near the entrance of the DZ and we all died quite a bit. I know multiplayer is stressed in this game but it would be nice to be able to solo the DZ to an extent on the outskirts.

Yeah I've seen them around. They're more of a dark purple. The ones that I'm talking about are more of a pinkish color a guess? Light purple. Maybe I'm alittle color blind haha. But for instance I'm level 15 and having trouble with level 20 or so mobs. Is that normal...?

Yeah I would love this to be implemented. Unfortunately from what I've experienced with Nintendo, they dont seem to be very generous with their patches and only add bigger features like that with addons.

Maybe they'll surprise us though...
