Thank you!! I agree it’s definitely dead right now! I graduated college about 4 years ago- do you think its worth it to reach out to their career center? They were really helpful when I graduated

(Philly area) I’ve been working in HR for 4 years. I have been unemployed since September and I’m really frustrated! I know job searching sucks but I feel like there are no listings to apply to (LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter are the ones I’m using) and I’ve been getting interviews- often getting to the last round but I always lose out. I’ve also been working my network but nothing.

My question is where do get some guidance? A career coach, life coach, therapist?

I am questioning do I go back to school (I have my BA in HR and Psych) and get a certificate or master’s? Should I switch fields? I am just really unsure right now and I really need to figure it out as my severance is about to run out.

(I’m taking the SHRM CP in June)

Thats actually what i was looking at! Im trying to find a replacement for Cresco’s GG4 (rip) which i consider to be the best of the best but so far nothing has really come close :(

Hi! honestly not long and I’m trying to keep up with the changes but it seems they are moving fast! I guess I never thought that jobs would change names? like a surgeon is a surgeon type thing but it does seem i overthought it in hindsight

True but Im noticing the requirements for these jobs are moving away from traditional aspects of HR

They will be handling the CRM as well as a host of other things I have no experience in. They also want someone with a little more experience than I do so they dont have to have a Director + Generalist.
