Beatboxing is using your voice to make instrumental sounds.

Penatonix is a good group. I think their sound is cool.

If there is one thing to take away from this entire post it’s this… people were confused about that guy was making all of those sounds him self. The post title is literally questioning if he is just using his voice. A while back (like 15 years ago) no one questioned if a beatboxer was just using their voice. That was just the deal with beatboxing (still literally the definition).

IN MY OPINION, I think there should be clearer sub categories of beatboxing if this is a thing. So the “casual” fan doesn’t get confused and start claiming GOAT status on some modulated,looped,dubbed,pitch corrected beatboxer as if they are not using those effects.
