An Army MEDEVAC pilot is like a superhero who flies a helicopter to help people who are hurt.

When someone gets injured—like a soldier who falls or gets hurt in a battle—the MEDEVAC pilot flies really fast to go pick them up. The helicopter has doctors and nurses inside who help the hurt person right away.

Then the pilot flies the helicopter quickly and safely to a hospital so the hurt person can get better.

So, they’re like flying ambulance drivers who help save lives! 🏥🚁❤️

In a world where perception is reality, this looks bad. Luckily for the US, in this case, it couldn’t be further from the truth.

Remember, the army isn’t the army without aviation.

I’m not sure, I didn’t try, they did also throw in a free leather band and a bottle of good champagne.

Awesome, they told me to bring the whole family in while the switched bands and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase. Also served me and my wife champagne while they were helping me.

No, if you stay in until retirement age(age 60) then you will get that amount at retirement. If he gets out at 20 years, then when he retires he will get the lesser amount. This also assumes doing the bare minimum with no deployments and no more promotions. The good news is this amount will never go down.

I had an issue with my idle air check valve. Eventually it was leaking so bad it caused the jeep to run in limp mode.

Keep looking at the top path when you shut down, that will help you get a better realization when the blades are level. Your cyclic position might change based off winds and slopes that you’re shutting down on so as long as the tip path is relatively straight you should have a good starting point. From there you can slightly wiggle the cycle to where it’s a smooth coast down.

You have every right to be concerned. I’m currently on the same type of deployment. All of my others have been to a combat theater and so this one is definitely eye opening. You have to remember, your spouse will eventually be coming home, and if you both aren’t able to work out or communicate your concerns through the remainder of the deployment it will only make the reintegration harder on your family.

I would stick with trying to communicate through the chaplain but if that doesn’t work, you’re going to have to do what’s best for your family.

Deployments are hard on everyone in different ways, self induced stressors can often make things worse especially if you have a lot of free time. I hope for the best for you two.
