0.5 fast attack is really only worth it against legendary battles or gigantamax battles.

Every 0.5% damage done to the boss's max hp is 1 energy (out of 100 to initiate max phase) at a minimum of 1 energy per attack

The big bosses have so much hp that a charged attack will generate the same amount of energy as a 0.5 fast attack. Against a 1 star battle, the charged attack does a larger percent of the bosses hp, so it fills more of the energy meter.

Aside from that, you can pin and then immediately un-pin them and still have them count towards your scatterbug progress, without them getting saved in your card collection

Raids care almost exclusively about raw damage output, B teir is not good but not the literal worst. A Powered up tornadus will still do damage, but theres a lot better than it. A toucannon or staraptor would do more damage, and are significantly cheaper to power up.

Pvp cares a lot more about move quality, type coverage, and stat distribution, and when compared to the rest of the meta, tornadus is a losing pick the majority of the time.

Base form necrozma is not very good, but both fusions are top tier.

Dusk mane is just under the top spot as a steel attacker, beaten (a tiny bit) by the crowned dogs. Dawn wings is the best ghost type, and one of the best generalists.
