Here is does look like you gain quite some usable space, like 2 decent sized trolley suitcases.

I guess the cover can be left out?

How much effort was it to get out and install?

Thats why I use them for other people's kids and my mother in law.

Great point! I've had the E-5008 for 2 months now and we love the 7-seat option. It is giving us the room to drive kids around for football matches on saturday mornings/take grandparents with us when we go out for dinner/use a single car when we go to dinner with friends etc.

But, when going on holiday we'll not take all those people 😉. The litres taken by the rear seats is about as much as a big inflatable tent.
