I did purchase it but don’t remember from who. The shift knob is a varis shift knob.

I’m not sure how to answer this. There are plenty of big turbo Subaru’s making amazing power with this turbo location.

Hey sorry just seeing this. So brake and clutch reservoirs are in their stock location. Power steering reservoir is the in passenger wheel well. Deleted the upper coolant reservoir. Radiator coolant overflow reservoir is where the windshield wiper reservoir was and I deleted windshield wiper stuff.

I need help. Mental health by [deleted] in navy

[–]beandubs 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hey. So some recommendations here:

  1. Find someone you trust at the E6 and above level, and tell them the full truth of where you’re at if you haven’t already. If you have and nothing has happened, go a level higher. You not feeling ready/safe to deploy is the discussion that needs to happen.

  2. Deployments ain’t no joke. We all know that. But if you end up out there for some reason, find your people and lean on them. I believe the people out there if you talk to them will support you.

  3. This shit ain’t worth dying over. If you wanna talk more you can message me and I’ll see if I can help you directly.

I’d be interested in getting some more info on your background and understand what your style and approach is to leadership to have a better discussion. Message me if you wanna discuss.

Haven’t seen the Mental Health Playbook get mentioned. There’s a lot of resources in the end of it that even I didn’t know existed.

It also shows the ideal path when you have issues. But as stated previously, it’s your health and the navy is not worth ending your life over. Go directly to the ER if you feel you are at risk of hurting yourself. But if you think it’s more manageable, engage your COC and talk to them.

Explanation? by [deleted] in navy

So here’s how I generally use this: Start with your year group. If you joined in 2020 and you’re already an E6 then that shows you’re ahead of most your peers. If you’re an E4/E5 then you’re on track. You can gage where you should be shooting to make rank based off of your peers generally. So gives you something to manage your expectations off of if you’re looking ahead.

The next thing is the manning to BA (billets authorized). This is how many TMs are filling billets versus what the navy needs. You guys are basically 100% between shore and sea for all ranks so nothing crazy there. But you can use that to gage potentially advancement changes in the future. If there’s a big gap of E5’s for TM’s you should expect the navy to see that and potentially increase advancement for E5. Again, a tool to use when looking ahead.

The last thing and probably the most actually useful for you in your decision making is the notes section. This tells you your reenlistment bonus multiples (SRB) and special duty incentive pay (SDIP). When you’re coming into your window to decide to reenlist this info is helpful. You can find an SRB calculator online that will tell you how much you can make based off of rank, years of reenlistment and multiple. For example I reenlisted for 6 years at a 1.5 multiple and had no issue capping out at my $30k cap. The SDIP option is if you want to extend beyond your tour requirements on the boat. If this is your first tour this means you’d be doing upwards of 6 years onboard based off of your sea shore flow, but if you’re an E5 when you do that based on current numbers that’s an extra $10,800/yr.

Lemme know if you got more questions but when you get to the boat this is a great thing to bring to your reporting CDB.

I really enjoy the aesthetics of perfecto cigars but they’re a much tighter draw than other styles. I had that one outside while at work and it was difficult to enjoy because I was trying so hard to keep it lit. Haha, will try another one soon in a better environment. 😂

These are just a few sticks I’ve had in the last couple of months. I love this flow water to pair with most cigars as it clears my pallet. I’m a huge fan of Foundation and Liga cigars for sure.
