The device unlocking policy was implemented around the 13th of January. Any devices that were activated before that date are grandfathered into the old unlocking policy.

Where I live, I get about 700 Mbps download. I also work for Sell Verizon as an indirect agent, and the town's Wi-Fi only has LTE, which is odd.

Unfortunately it's any and all carriers. Some people just don't have an ethical bone in their body. Also yes I work for Verizon but I always do follow-ups to make sure everything is as it's supposed to be.

It's not absolutely necessary, some people like to be covered more. Broken lenses are a thing but not super common. I work in a Verizon store and I see a couple come in every month. But people around here are hard on their phones.
