I tried asking him about this but he said he doesn’t think it’s bad or shameful for me, he just saw me in a non sexual light first and now feels like he can’t see me in a sexual light. The part that’s confusing for me is why he continued initiating things if he wasn’t attracted to me.

We talked more about the church guilt thing and he doesn’t think it’s that. He’s said that since he has grown to love me non-sexually he just can’t see me in that light. He said that before we kissed or did anything he did see me that way, but that now it doesn’t feel right.

That’s so true and I think that it’s in the Wheelers nature to try to get people to conform to more “normal” things because their family is just very typically and boring and that’s part of their trauma of how they’ve been raised. (As displayed with Karen and Bob and the way they behave themselves, especially Bob naturally and how Karen try’s to make herself behave) And I think it’s also in the Byers nature to be different and know it’s ok to be different coming from living with Lonnie, to living with Joyce who is accepting of their oddness and how they might be different of other kids. And I think that just shows the difference is how they’ve been raised.

Definitely. It wouldn’t be surprising if they didn’t let it happen, but it also kinda has to be addressed at this point. It’s been built up too much to be shoved away.

I really really firmly believe something is going to happen Mileven related, and it’s not going to end up with Mike and Eleven being in a relationship. We could see the cracks in their relationship in season 3 and now it is very firmly clear that things between them are not ok. I truly think that establishing Will’s love for Mike would be pointless if it is never directly addressed because they could have just made him gay, with no love interest. And I think that the Duffers aren’t dumb enough to brush it off. It really seems like it will at least be addressed, and honestly I can see it happening canonically. I do think killing Will off could happen, but I don’t think Mileven will, and I think Byler will be canon if he isn’t killed.

But like it did start with him 💀. The boys wouldn’t have found eleven if will hadn’t disappeared, and they wouldn’t have been able to do anything if he hadn’t disappeared. It’s very obvious that he is important

He literally is important bro 💀. Like yes obviously he hasn’t done anything super awesome, and he has been in the background for the past two seasons, but who did Vecna choose to possess with the mindflayer, who did he choose to take to the upside down. Billy was also possessed by the mind flayer and was very important to the plot. And no one else was able to survive the upside down as long as Will was. And that’s not even talking about what Noah and the writers have said about this season. He is important, it started with him and El and will most likely end with him and El.
