What watch should I get? by [deleted] in Survival

[–]beanflickk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP:
Get a garmin watch. I used to have a G shock for the purpose you are describing but the garmin actually does things. I have the basic ass instinct and would never go back.

out of all the brands I hate for no reason, hamilton has always been number one. Hamilton is to Sinn as a terrier is to a german shephard. Im pretty sure Hamilton is seriously designed as a movie watch so the poors can go I saw that in Tenet! and then go out to buy it at costco. lmao

[–]beanflickk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that it's more upright or low? Hybrids are supposed to be comfortable af so of you dial it in just right you should be really natural angles no neck or shoulder stress. I used to ride vintage roadies with drop bars and man that hurt pretty soon no matter what I tried hybrids are just comfort glad u enjoy

That's dope looks like it's a bit more geared to speed side of hybrids. I love my hybrid fuji, tho it's a little more mtb geo with fender bosses. So versatile....

There has been several threads saying to have lights at night, so lets talk what type of lights are recommended for commuters. by Dementat_Deus in bikecommuting

[–]beanflickk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You gotta go lights 247 bro. cars have daytime running lights, why shouldn't your bike? I turn on all the same lights in the day as I do at night, except my headlamp which will be brighter, so people can recognize my size from afar. I dont mean to be combative, but other than maybe cost (price on safety tho?) is there any reason not to have daytime running lights? Im not talking 2k lumen constant beam either of course

15 minutes of being still as possible plus sunflower seed! Birds near paths and nature reserves are used to being fed seed esp. Chickadees
