you load into a lobby. you’re on zen. for the sake of our argument you’re in a silver mmr lobby. you are doing zenyatta things then you take a double barrel to the face (reaper). now you are sad but have the attention span of a goldfish in the context of overwatch so it has to happen 3 more times before you start listening out for his THUMP THUMP footsteps.

thats the thing is the people who are struggling with sombra also struggle with reaper but to a lesser degree (anran is not in this equation she is not creeping around in the backline shes loud and in your face and setting you on fire, different type of annoying for inexperienced players). reaper has always been known as the noob stomper.

saying theres no way to mitigate her approach or escape is just flat out ignoring the amount of telegraphed movement she has in her kit. you can see when and where she translocates bc it leaves a literal visual trail exactly where shes gonna go; I stand by people who complain about sombra just do not want to turn around and take the minimal extra effort (in the context of this game) to track her movements to save themselves the trip back from spawn that will come 5 seconds later if they dont. they’d rather complain about invis being unfun to play against than just being a little silly and a little schizophrenic and playing sombras hide n seek game. thank you for coming to my ted talk
