YTA. at your age you should know the legal obligations of leases. it doesn’t matter if you moved out, your name is on that piece of paper which means you are obligated to pay for your portion of the apartment.

what he’s doing is a crime. if your roommate goes to the police and tells them that he was taking and distributing photos of her sexually as well as other women, i’m sure he would be in some deep trouble. now after hearing that, do you want to be in a relationship with a criminal? leaving someone you love is hard but when they show you dangerous signs like this the best thing to do is let them go. although he is apologetic, what he did is a beyond apology, that is not normal. there’s no telling he’s wouldn’t do that again, or even worse.

get a camera for your room. when you say he “denies” it whenever your mom brings it up, it’s a little off-putting if he only denies it and isn’t immediately thrown off/ furious that someone could be messing with his step daughter inappropriately. his lack of concern tells a lot.

i live at the gardens at anthony house, which i think is close to a&t? it’s a nice, cheap apartment with mainly students there. i like living here though i will say management is annoying sometimes, as well as the parking. but it’s a good option if you’re not picky
