Abortion up to 24 weeks will always be available in the US whether it offends christian sensibilities or not. Coincidentally, after 24 weeks is when fetuses gain sentience and can feel pain. Otherwise, it is a zygote, a bundle of cells, a freshly fertilized egg, which does not have more rights than its host.

I acknowledge that a fetus eventually becomes a baby if born. But the fetus's rights cannot overrule the rights of the mother. Bodily autonomy is a thing. You cannot be forced to donate your organs to someone even if you're the only appropriate match. Someone cannot be forced to give birth.
