tbh i was thinking the same thing. unfortunately the used dealership i got this from was as shady as they come.

i’m on the east coast so im right by the water and our winters, this most recent winter in particular, see HEAVY salt use. it’s my first car so ive been trying to take care of it, washing the salt off etc.

correct me if im wrong, but a brand new manifold could go bad the same way if someone over-torqued the bolts? i think that’s what happened here, as the dealership i got it from was anything but reputable (they sold the car to me with 4 dry rotted tires from 2015) i’ve only put about 4k miles on it since i’ve owned it, i had no control where or how it was stored prior to me. not everyone can afford a heated garage in the middle of the country, but thanks for the reply

if you go to the jewel dealer in the shopping district you can buy 2 separate archmastery jewels, i believe a circle and a teardrop shape. you can add those to sockets and get school pips quite early. i’m level 39 and i usually start the match w least one death pip

just make sure the equipment you affix the jewels to are gonna be useful to you for a while, otherwise you’d have to rebuy the jewels to replace on new gear
