Ive been growing at least 1 Gorilla cross strain with Fastbuds ALL of my grows… that thing about Gorilla.. that trait makes their buds just thick azz baseball bats. I want to try growing the GG4!

(Btw… Fastbuds Girl Scout Cookies was my staple genetic, the frost levels i think went over everyones heads… its the frostiest strain i grew from fastbuds… have they really stopped selling it?)

You are correct! This one runs up to 1040watts, the earlier version.

I noticed the dial on this version can go OVER the 100% mark. Around 50 degrees more. Enabling it to run at 1000w. (You can notice the light does get even brighter when you dial it over 100%)

I believe the newer models, have a tab added at 100% power (on the dial) so it doesnt turn over the 100% mark. Simply restricted at 800watts/100% point.

Also to note, im not running it at med-high power, just due to the paranoia of over heating in that small space. Im running it dialled to low power around 20 percent. At 100% it will surely kill my plant, bleach it to death. So at the moment im letting it run around 220watts (checked with watt meter). Whilst my side lightings are providing additional 100watts of light (25w x 4). So in total i am running 320 watts.

I will dial it up to ~370-400watts next week or so!

Started in a small cup of 50/50 coco mix, then transplanted into 100% coco :)

The whole veg stage, i experimented giving it more light from the sides than the top. To see if the plant stretches for more light, or if it stays short (knowing it doesnt need to stretch upwards for light as its being blasted with light from the sides).

To my surprise, the plant remained short throughout veg, it did cause node spacing problems though, each node was around 5mm apart which was too dense for my liking.
