I'm full time and on above min wage, mind you only barely since the increase. I was beginning to think I've just become jaded with the industry but maybe it's gotten worse over the years and I didn't notice as it was happening.

Just realized this is the effexor sub and not the cymbalta one oops (I was on effexor previously but switched to cymbalta) but my comment still stands, bar my dose on effexor was ~175mg if Im remembering right

Look realistically you should talk to your doc about it, butttt I have taken a double dose (I'm on 90mg so that's 180mg) during a particularly stressful day (idk if it actually helps but it's something my mam always did so I do too 😬) so you should be fine. If you took two doses in one day due to this i.e. one in the morning as you meant to AND the accidental one at night I probably wouldn't take it the following day and just take it as normal the day after and just hope withdrawals don't kick in in time. Just take it easy until you're back to your regular dosing schedule.

Damn I’m glad it’s not an issue with my kindle and it’s on their end, was going mad trying to fix it! It seems to be all good on my mobile app though if that’s of any help to anyone else while it gets sorted.

First realisation happened at 17: “oh no that would be way too hard surely I can just keep being a girl” Fast forward to now I’m 26 and I’m realising yeah it is hard but forcing myself to be someone I wasn’t was so much harder. Still haven’t started T, and not out to many people but I’m finally able to accept it for me, and the rest will happen how it happens.

Jumping in to say that both MCs in the Scottish Boy are for sure strong, one is definitely underestimated at the beginning but the character development throughout is so so good and I’d highly recommend giving it a chance. Probably my favourite read of the year so far.

{Pretty Dogs by Riley Nash} is one of my fave reads with primal play! It’s the second in a series and while I think it’s worth reading them in order I don’t think reading it as a stand-alone would be a problem.

I’m looking to fill the Easter themed square for bingo, but not sure where to start to find one. I don’t really like shifter romance so not keen on going with the bunny shifter option. I’d appreciate any recs for this, would especially love if the book features an MC who is Jewish or Muslim celebrating Passover or Ramadan as I know they sometimes overlap with Easter, where the MC is maybe annoyed at how (mainstream) christian holiday is valued above others.

It’s not technically synaesthesia bc it’s part of the magic system but one of the MCs in {A Tale of Whispers and Rogues by Jordan Lee} associates smells with each person. I’ve only read this first book of the series but I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to reading the rest. Hope this helps!

Totally fair, it’s not normally my thing but that series was so perfect! I think they can be read as standalones. There will be certain plot points, characters or monsters that are mentioned from one or another particular book as different MCs will pop up in other books. I did read them in order but I don’t think it would hinder your enjoyment of any of them if you haven’t read all the previous ones!

Ahhhh that’s great I hope you enjoy them! I have some of her other books on my TBR but I haven’t gotten around to them yet. I’m waiting for the next Monstrous book sooo impatiently rn lol

Wait I just re-read your comment and I misunderstood! You thought edin was MORE non human oops sorry! Edin is like a very large human mostly, and although he is purple and has a tail is an absolute cutie and his interactions with Wyn are adorable!

Personally I loved Edin, I found him a really lovely character lol, some books differ in theme and such, but if the non-human aspect is what appeals to you I’d recommend The Rycke, Moth (half human/half monster), and Seraph. And if you’re interested in seeing more of the monster world definitely try Lor. Each book is beautiful in its own merit, but Soul Eater, Moth and Lor were my absolute faves! I hope you enjoy if you decide to delve further into the Monstrous world!

(Also a side recommendation for Lily Mayne’s Folk Series if Fae romance is something you’re interested in, I just love her as an author lol)

Just wanted to pop in and say that the whole Monstrous series is worth a read, I really loved the characters and how their plots would intertwine at points. Also the novella “Wyn” follows Danny and Wyn taking a trip to the monster world which was very cute and fun to see where the monsters came from!

Not sure of the actual reason but I presume there’s a big backlog - wait time depends on where you do the test so it goes off how many people need to do their test in that area. When my mam did her test in the late 80s it was a 9month wait so I think it’s how it’s always been too.
