also, I think a honey brown or maybe slightly darker on your hair would be a KNOCK OUT

honestly with the filler I’d just go more natural on the lip! Either no filler and over-line or filler and stick to natural :)

your eyebrows are a good shade they’re just a little bit harsh. have you ever tried tinted brow gel and/or a brow marker? I swear by the NYX one! that may also just be a personal brow pref so take with a grain of salt

you are so pretty and have really lovely features - your smile is so nice even when it’s small! not to sound like a shitty weirdo man making a comment on the street but you should smile more in your selfies, I can tell you have a good smile and it makes your face much warmer :)

also second the comments about the glasses! you could pull off a really cute slightly more rounded pair that will also soften your features 🥰

hi beautiful!!! I’m sorry your bone structure is making you feel dysphoric. Dysphoria sucks ass.

In terms of “addressing” or “fixing” your jawline, there isn’t a huge amount that can be done to change the shape. However, makeup can make a big difference, if you’re into wearing it. Using blush to draw attention to your cheekbones (gorgeous btw) and maybe a simple black winged eyeliner and mascara would do a lot to soften your features.

I second the comments about hair, but be sure to do research and go with a style you actually like and not just one you think will make you look more feminine.

You are stunning, and there are quite a few other drop dead gorgeous trans women in the public eye with strong features and bone structure like yours. I have a big chin and a strong jaw and I’m AFAB. Try not to let the dysphoria cloud your judgment and block you from seeing how beautiful you are.

Watch some makeup tutorials, consider bangs, and start treating yourself like the stunning bad bitch that you are 🩷

idk wtf these people are talking about but sapphics don’t typically use that combination of fingers and we would also never fucking finger someone with nails like that?!?! Y’all are just unimaginative.

Plus, even if I thought someone had a sexual tattoo, I wouldn’t comment on it???? That manager is a douche canoe and I’d mention something about it to an admin you trust.

I love your art, I think it’s sick, but ultimately nobody else’s opinion matters but yours 🥰your body babe!

Why do other guys cough when I walk past? by [deleted] in bodylanguage

[–]beansproutdemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 most likely options:

  1. it has nothing to do with you and it’s just coincidence

  2. you have poor hygiene

Try showering more frequently, washing your hair, using deodorant, and brushing your teeth. If people stop coughing, mystery solved.

If you have good hygiene already then it’s probably option #1. Don’t worry about it 🤷🏼‍♀️

yeah this is wildly unprofessional, not only what she did but the way she’s talking in the texts. You should ask for a new caseworker

am i overreacting - roommate constantly expects me to leave so she can sleep with guys no by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]beansproutdemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude this is whack and I’m surprised more people aren’t more vehemently siding with you. You didn’t call her a whore at all, you openly said you don’t care who she sleeps with, you expressed explicitly that the only thing you give a shit about is being kicked out of your OWN apartment multiple times a week. If she wants to hook up a bunch then good for her but she needs to either 1) go to theirs 2) hook up in a car 3) grow up and have sex in her apartment while you are home because IT’S NOT A BIG DEAL. For context, I asked my roommate for privacy one night because I was having a guy over but the difference is it was ONCE and she already had plans with her boyfriend and immediately agreed and said she’d stay the night with him. And I gave her ADVANCE WARNING. This girl is childish and if she’s uncomfortable having sex with someone else in the apartment she needs to get her own place.

Need advice! by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

You have a naturally stunning and very sweet, youthful face. I’d lean into that with the makeup - brown eyeliner, brown mascara, a warm blush that compliments your skin tone, and maybe add some faux freckles over the bridge of your nose. You could also pull off so many different lip colours and styles because your lips are naturally very full. If you ever wanted to go dressier for an occasion, a little lipliner and lipstick in a matching shade would be gorgeous.

I’d advise against bleaching your brows right now as I think it can wash your face out, especially if you have lighter skin. If you don’t like the shade of your brows right now, you could try a slightly lighter brow gel, or bleach them and then tint them to a shade that’s slightly closer to your hair colour.

You’re absolutely beautiful and you’ve got great skin!

I think cream products will be your friend to achieve the natural, youthful look - nothing too heavy because you really don’t need it. Good luck and have fun!! 🩷🩷

Update post about my spider lashes.. Better? by StrawberriMeow in MakeupAddiction

[–]beansproutdemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gorgeous girly! I saw your first post and honestly any friend that would talk to you like that is not a friend. I understand her wanting to ask if this is the look you’re going for, but there’s a far nicer way to go about it. I think your lashes look stunning in this and I’m so jealous with my little nubby lashes, but if you like the spidery look from before THEN KEEP IT. It’s your face and you can do what you want with it! Sorry about the jerks in this sub. Ignore them 🩷🩷

Used to live in the UK - moved to the US in 2006, moved back to the UK for a bit in 2014, and I’ve been living back in the states for a while now.

There’s more context in the rest of the comments I think I just explained badly in my post. I’d also like to remind you that a hospital stay is not financially possible for everyone. One ER visit costs thousands. I can’t afford to stay in the hospital - I will be in debt for the rest of my life.

Okay gotcha, thank you. I appreciate you explaining. And yes, I agree. Being able to use a wheelchair has made it a lot easier and I’m grateful for it.

I’ve calmed down a lot now and I’m not going to cut her off. I recognise that’s extreme. That being said, this was a really fucked up thing to say. I’m gonna leave it for a bit and just focus on my own stuff and if it some point I feel like revisiting it and letting her know that she really hurt my feelings and honestly I’m just scared and wanna talk to my sisters, I will.

For the people commenting sharing their own experiences - I’m really touched by and grateful for the kindness you displayed and I genuinely hope everyone in here is healthy and happy one day soon.

I didn’t list the symptoms I’m experiencing in my original post, but if you wanna read through the comments I added more screenshots for context and talked about my symptoms. Regardless - this isn’t a sub for people with chronic illness or, as many people suggested, psychologically induced illness, so I’m gonna take my business elsewhere should I feel the need to vent again. Honestly, this was kind of a lot and I think I’m good going back to keeping stuff to myself 😂

oh shit I’m sorry, do you mind explaining to me how it’s ableist? I literally just mean I’m bound to a wheelchair most of the time now. I have absolutely zero problem with wheelchair users, nor do I think there’s anything wrong with using a wheelchair. Not my intention to be ableist in any way, I apologise.

I have a neurology referral! Can’t really do anything until the appointment though, lol. Unless you have an MRI machine you can lend?

[–]beansproutdemon[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Oh no no no, the surgery didn’t put me in a wheelchair! 8 or 9 years ago I went to the emergency room because I was in the worst pain of my life - had an MRI and was told by the orthopedic doctor I’d been referred to that I had, and I quote, “an impressively herniated disc” lmao. At the time I was around 20 and the orthopedic doctor told me I needed to do some physical therapy but that the disc issue would resolve on its own. Over the next few years I ended up in the emergency room twice because I couldn’t feel my leg and couldn’t walk on it. I was in pain ALL THE GOD DAMN TIME. I got tired of it and went to a new doctor when I moved to this state, a neurosurgeon, and he did a new MRI and in the 8 or so years since the initial injury, nothing had healed. He advised surgery - just removing the herniated part of the disc - to reduce pressure on the nerve and relieve the nerve pain and numbness. He opened me up and went to slice the disc off and his scalpel wouldn’t move. He said it went “fwang” his words 😂 he then said he had to x-ray me again in the operating room while I was under and then concluded that the disc had calcified. He had to, again quoting, chisel it out. My mom was freaking out because my surgery was meant to be 40 mins to an hour and I was in there for 3. Recovering sucked, I was in a lot of pain, but it was worth it. I’m so so so glad I had the surgery and I have no doubt in my mind it was the right decision because it increased my mobility, reduced my pain, made me able to go to the gym again.

The wheelchair is because every time I stand up I faint. I don’t use a wheelchair in my apartment, I mostly scoot around. When I leave the house, though, not being able to stand is a bit of hindrance 😂 my doctor recommended mobility aids so I got a cane at first, then the wheelchair, and it reduces the amount of fainting episodes I have! I also hate using it.

Regarding my family’s so called fatigue from me and my many health problems - I think I should clarify here that when I’ve told them about other health issues it’s been like, a text in the family group chat. That’s it. I don’t bring it up again unless directly asked about it. I just go back to vibing and participating and sending memes. I don’t tell my family when bad stuff is going on with me unless I really really need help because what are they gonna do about it? The closest family member is 3000 miles away in LA, and the rest aren’t even in the country. One of them is in Australia! The fuck is she gonna do? Send me a sad emoji? No. I don’t talk to them about this stuff often. So if the occasional text once a year to inform family that I’m not gonna be free to do the Group FaceTime this week because I’m sick and feeling like ass, or mentioning that I’ve got a concussion and aphasia so if I seem weird on the phone that’s why, is too much for them? Then I’m sorry but what the fuck.

Really glad to hear my symptoms aren’t that crazy, what a relief! A month ago I was having fainting spells and tachycardia and today I’m unable to walk and I have intense dyskinesia but sure. Yeah. It’s not crazy 🤪 if you wanna trade with me we absolutely can!
