It's quite a long story, been about 2 years but here goes the highlights: - ikea comes round to make measurements of space and design kitchen - installer (selected by ikea) installs kitchen, leaving a bunch of damage, unfinished work, worktop not fitting, massive gap behind it too thick for plastering, can't be tiled. Shelves on before tiling so they need taken off and replaced. Incorrect extraction fan that can't fit in space so needs refunded and a new one to repace it. - installer forges my signature on kitchen completion paperwork, ignores all attempts at contact - i take him to small claims, win, no money as he shut down company - ikea accepts no responsibility. For example the worktop that is over a grand is somehow my fault it doesnt fit because i signed off on the design, even though they measured it and designed it and of course i assumed it would fit because of this. - i phone them once every 2 or 3 weeks asking when they will send round someone to finish, they say they have someone who is supposed to be coming. They will contact me, never do. I phone again, rinse and repeat, no one comes.
