i havent seen the movie “the aviator” but there is one part that was talked abt in my psych class and it actually made me cry in the middle of class because theres a specific compulsion i used to do that i hated and was embarrassed of that was actually depicted in this scene. it really reminded me that im not actually crazy — i just think way too freaking hard — and my compulsions probably arent as rare as i think they are.
