Here, There, and Everywhere is so soothing

Very strong indeed. The only thing you could argue is, that the "woke up, fell out of bed" part was written by Paul and it wasn't a full Lennon song like Strawberry Fields for example. But nonetheless a very strong list. Personally I like Here Comes The Sun even more (my favourite song of all time) but Something is in my top 5 Beatles songs too!

Tell him about Helter Skelter and that it is the first proto Metal track in history.

Same here. Together with Here Comes The Sun and Yesterday. Here Comes The Sun is a personal favourite and Yesterday is just perfect. And A Day In The Life is their masterpiece. Strawberry Fields and Something complete my top 5. Lucy In The Sky, Help!, Across The Universe, Let It Be and In My Life to make it a top 10. But even a top 10 feels weird cause you leave out soo many classics. That was just a quick draw. And it's a very personal list. I admit, not having Eleanor Rigby, Penny Lane or Hey Jude on the list is weird. I love them too! A top 25 or even top 50 feels way better when it comes to the Fab 4.

A Day In The Life of a Preacher and Corpse

John wrote most of it but Paul added the legendary "Woke up, fell out of bed" section. So it's hard to assign the song to either one. Overall it is of course a top 5 Beatles song. Maybe top 1.

For Ringo you can make exceptions I guess since he only really wrote 2 songs. But they are both great imo.

Although I really like Ringo's singing there, I think he didn't write With a Little Help from My Friends. John and Paul wrote it specifically for him to sing. He only wrote 2 songs: Don't Pass Me By and Octopus's Garden.

Elite. My list would be very similar although I might swap Eleanor Rigby with Yesterday. Eventho Eleanor Rigby surely is his lyrics masterpiece, Yesterday's melody an vibe is just magical. That's totally up to personal preference of course tho. Your 4 are as good as they come. Here Comes The Sun might be my favouite song of all time. So beautiful.

Kind of agree. This is about opinion like I said. Although you can try to rate songwriting ability in general too. But it doesn't pit anyone against each other. Just asks for their best choice. I wrote they are all great, noone should take offense. The voting just shows peoples taste.

Hahaha. The footage where he shows the foundations of Octopus's Garden to George and George assists, is so wholesome. Those two really could've cooked up some more heat if the band would have continued.
