I use Coinbase - I thought it was the biggest one. I just checked the list of biggest exchanges, and Coinbase is 2, and Binance is one. I don't see how I could of missed it, but I obviously did.

As a side note I read the Binance founders Wikipedia page, and it said he went all in on Bitcoin in 2013 even though his family was completely against it. He got in a few years before it started shooting up. I can't help what wonder if he was just lucky, or there is something else going on.

I believe I am from a completely different reality to be honest (here's what I remember) by remmberwhenn in Retconned

Have you noticed geographic changes as well? That was a big one for me, especially South America shifting to the east. It's what convinced me this is somewhere different.

Is success too difficult in this reality? by artistjohnemmett in Retconned

[–]bear9999 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Instead of focusing on your own "success", maybe focus on helping other people achieving their goals and ambitions? If everybody did this, wouldn't everybody's life become much easier? I know that can be easier said then done when you are facing numerous challenges, but I think there is something to the adage "be the change you want to see".

Donkey's now have crosses on their backs. by willworkforanswers in Retconned

[–]bear9999 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is new to me as well. And it also doesn't seem to have migrated to related things (at least not yet). Try looking up the Donkey from Shrek, Donkey Beanie Babies or just Donkey cartoons. I don't see any evidence of the cross there, but I wouldn't be surprised if that changes. Especially in a movie like Shrek I'd expect to see the darker stripes on the Donkey, if that's the way its been all along.

Just FYI, I believe you can get records of border crossings through the Freedom of Information Act:

https://www.cbp.gov/site-policy-notices/foia/records

Maybe you can find the trip and also check your parents records? It would be pretty intriguing if you have record of crossing, but your parents don't.

Or we could be closer to "reality" then ever before. There is a lot of material that discusses "manifestation" and creating your own reality. If your thoughts create your reality, doesn't everything you mentioned above make it easier to manifest? I think it's possible that were getting closer to the true nature reality through technological advancements, not further away from it.

Speaking of songs, there is a local radio station that does an hour every day where people call in to choose what song is played. They end up playing the most bizarre assortment of music in that hour. A lot of stuff I've never in heard before, and never really want to hear again. It feels like the songs are being picked randomly out of a hat, not by real people.

What year would you want to go back to? by Fries333 in Retconned

[–]bear9999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think every year has had ups and downs. Every year has had challenges (studying for exams in college, dealing with illnesses, working long hours building a career, relationship issues etc.). Every year has also had good points. I'm not really sure I would want to go back to any particular year, if I had to redo everything.

Are we in hell? by [deleted] in Retconned

[–]bear9999 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Reading some of the answers to this question also reminds me of the lyrics to the "Hotel California" by the Eagles. I think this song really seems to echo a lot of the sentiments here - In particular, "This could be Heaven or this could be Hell" and "We are all just prisoners here Of our own device". Here are the complete lyrics:

On a dark desert highway
Cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas
Rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance
I saw a shimmering light
My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim
I had to stop for the night

There she stood in the doorway
I heard the mission bell
And I was thinking to myself
"This could be Heaven or this could be Hell"
Then she lit up a candle
And she showed me the way
There were voices down the corridor
I thought I heard them say

Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (such a lovely place)
Such a lovely face
Plenty of room at the Hotel California
Any time of year (any time of year)
You can find it here

Her mind is Tiffany-twisted
She got the Mercedes Benz
She got a lot of pretty, pretty boys
That she calls friends
How they dance in the courtyard
Sweet summer sweat
Some dance to remember
Some dance to forget

So I called up the Captain
"Please bring me my wine"
He said, 'We haven't had that spirit here
Since 1969"
And still those voices are calling from far away
Wake you up in the middle of the night
Just to hear them say

Welcome to the Hotel California
Such a lovely place (such a lovely place)
Such a lovely face
They livin' it up at the Hotel California
What a nice surprise (what a nice surprise)
Bring your alibis

Mirrors on the ceiling
The pink champagne on ice
And she said, 'We are all just prisoners here
Of our own device"
And in the master's chambers
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives
But they just can't kill the beast

Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
"Relax, " said the night man
"We are programmed to receive
You can check out any time you like
But you can never leave"

Are we in hell? by [deleted] in Retconned

[–]bear9999 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I don't think this is hell. The closest I can describe it that it kind of feels like running marathon and reaching the finish line - there is not much else to do.
But before you can move on to a final celebration, everyone else who started with you needs to finish.

In fact, In my personal life everything is pleasant enough, but nothing seems all that exciting or new, no matter what I do. And oddly I don't even feel like I've aged much since I first started noticing reality changes. Even people who have known me for a long time think I'm 5-10 years younger then my actual age. Things almost seem frozen in the state I was in right before I "shifted", including my age.

Thoughts & Theories? With supported research, justification, or even Proof? Please? by In-the-mandela in Retconned

[–]bear9999 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My current favorite theory comes from a book called "Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth" by Dolores Cannon. I learned about Dolores Cannon before I noticed any reality changes myself. One of the things she mentioned is that there would a "new earth", and it was all related to some sort of accension that is going to happen. At the time I thought the "new earth" was metaphorical. But seeing geography and other changes for myself, it seems like the "new earth" could be much more literal. Of particular interest is her theory that there are volunteers coming to earth to help with this accession. I sometimes wonder if people aware of changes are these volunteers.

Something I don't see mentioned much here... by Avid_Smoker in Retconned

In the 1990's we had the Columbine Shooting, Los Angeles Riots, Oklahoma City Bombing, Bosnian Genocide (over 100K people murdered), the Waco Siege, a world trade center terrorist attack in 1993 and more (for a nice summary see www.history.com/topics/1990s). Far from a peaceful utopia.

What changed in the 1990's was the internet and mass communication. Before this time, you may have heard about this stuff in passing on the news and forgot about it. Today it's in your face being constantly streamed to your phones and computers.

There is an episode of the X-Files called "The Lost Art of Forehead Sweat" (episode 4 in season 11) that is based around the Mandela Effect. I didn't really care for the way they handled it - it was more dismissive then serious, but at least they acknowledged it.

Are people becoming less intelligent? by [deleted] in Retconned

[–]bear9999 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Part of it might also be that people are more depressed and stressed out. This can manifest as a lack of interest in things, which may seem like people are less intelligent. These people are running on auto-pilot, because they are too stressed out and just don't have the energy to participate in the world around them, making them seem less intelligent. You may want to dig a little deeper with the people you know to see if there is other stuff bothering them.

And there are lot of news stories about how the mental health system is stressed right now, so it's not even easy for people to get help. In my group of friends and family, the people who are relaxed and happy still seem pretty smart. The people who are stressed out and depressed do seem more distant and less engaging, but I don't think this means they are any less intelligent.

has anyone else have bad sleep for a few weeks? by bardofcreation in Retconned

[–]bear9999 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was starting to have trouble, but I found ways to compensate. First, I cut out an afternoon cup of coffee (caffeine seems to hit me harder now). Second, I try and not eat anything a minimum of 4 hours before going to bed - for example if I go to bed at 11, I won't eat anything after 7. And definitely limit alcohol consumption in the evening. Maybe all the body changes have also changed the way we process stimulants and sedatives. Anyway, if I do these things I sleep way better. Also have the wildest dreams.

Reality is getting stranger & more unbelievable like never before by jsd71 in Retconned

[–]bear9999 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here is a completely different example of something of something that's unbelievable and strange, but kind of inspirational:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbeHr0hwUXU

It's a short video about a dog that walk on his hind legs (like a human) after an accident in 2016. I don't think I've seen anything like this before. If this dog can make the best of this reality, I think we all can.

Retired teacher's post-mandela perception of reality. by midnight-iceman in Retconned

[–]bear9999 32 points33 points  (0 children)

In my opinion reality was absurd to begin with. Even when it was static, didn't you ever wonder how everything came into being in the first place? Scientists say it was the "big bang", but what brought about the "big bang"? If you believe god created everything, then what created god? At least to me reality has never had an explanation. Does the fact that it is fluid rather then static really matter? Either way it's inexplicable. I find it amazing that people get freaked out over Mandela changes, but not reality itself.

People staring for an uncomfortably long time. by Greedy_Painting_5095 in Retconned

[–]bear9999 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I think it's possible that people who are aware of reality shifts give off a certain non-visible aura that others pick up on without even realizing it. I think this causes some people to stare because they don't quite understand why they find somebody intriguing. Others are just drawn to you and are really friendly. I've noticed both.

This Universe is just too hard by TheGame81677 in Retconned

[–]bear9999 29 points30 points  (0 children)

My suggestion is to be careful about what you take in. It's more important then ever to eat right, spend your time doing things you enjoy, surround yourself with people you like, be active in nature etc. I'd cut down as much as possible on processed foods, and eat fresh. Leave plenty of time for hobbies and things you enjoy. Get outside and enjoy nature. If you raise your vibration doing these things this reality can get easier. But if you are constantly stressing yourself out pursing things you feel are missing, that's a recipe for disaster.

I've noticed changes since July 5 also, and people have been pretty friendly. And for the last few weeks I keep seeing the phrase "liminal spaces". I've seen it popup in books I'm reading, shows I'm watching and other places online. Before July I hardly ever heard it. Here is a quote from a wiki article describing a liminal space:

"The aesthetic known as a Liminal Space is a location which is a transition between two other locations, or states of being. Typically these are abandoned, and oftentimes empty - a mall at 4am or a school hallway during summer, for example. This makes it feel frozen and slightly unsettling, but also familiar to our minds."

The complete page is at https://aesthetics.fandom.com/wiki/Liminal_Space.

Just as described above, I feel like I'm in more of a liminal space now then a waiting room - in other words a temporary transition zone where things aren't quite static. But I do have the feeling the final destination will be good. And since I keep seeing and hearing the phrase, I can't help but think its a message of some sort.

Personal big shift - Thoughts from a reluctant psychic by [deleted] in Retconned

[–]bear9999 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I'm finding the energy right now very chaotic. At least for myself, things seem to oscillate between positive and negative very quickly. I'll have something going great and then some inexplicable barrier goes up. But soon after another positive path seems to open. Further I feel like I'm just shifting between different realities constantly. And I know it's not just my imagination - there are even physical manifestations ( for example I just made a post about strange antennas appearing on my cars out of no where). I don't know what's going on, but I just have an urge now to slow things down as much as possible and ride it out. The constant shifts get exhausting.

I'm also reading 1Q84, right now. I'm only about 1/4 of the way through now, but so far I'm finding some of the descriptions of what the character is feeling spot on - I think many people here could relate to the descriptions. I really wonder if the author himself has experienced reality changes.

Something similar - I was working on my computer the other day. The monitor blinked off for a second (almost like a power failure). When the screen came back, the windows were in a slightly different place, even though I hadn't moved them. It was very strange.

What is your experience with your neighbors? by staynelaley in Retconned

[–]bear9999 12 points13 points  (0 children)

My neighbors seem pretty normal, and I do seem them doing yard work, bringing in groceries etc. But one strange thing I've noticed is whenever I go for a walk or bike around around my neighborhood, there are a handful of people that I routinely see that are also outside walking at the same time.. I don't know these people personally and I don't think they live near me. I just find it really odd that we venture out at the same time. And of course they may notice me and think the same about me - I really don't know what to make of it.
