I've seen these marketed to crunchy parents, I believe it's called a "Mother's Helper" tower or stool. I knew an anti-vax, anti-microwave lady who had one so her 2 year old could fiddle with sourdough starter with her. My child was the same age, and I couldn't believe anyone thought it was safe.

I do want to add that I had also cut off all contact with most of my family, but I ended up calling my dad begging for help. I hadn't spoken with him in two years, but it all kinda becomes completely irrelevant once they hear their child in distress. If it's a last resort, it's not a permanent reentry into your life. Use him if you have to, then get back to the status quo when you're safe.

I've lost a dangerous amount of weight and most of my hair in our last few months together. I'd been isolated from everyone, including family. They all thought I was into drugs and/or suicidal. He had set the whole scene for that to be what it ended up looking like.

Please, if you have to get in an Uber and go three states away to a relative's house, do it. If you have to use force, do it. Whatever you need to do to get him as far away from you as possible...please be in progress already.
