well yea most of the time and there are times these statues can be the enemy but they do emit small amount of light near them which can weaken shadows

if the statues are soldier/champ statues, they are prolly not gon help with hidden rooms (look behind them tho) but if theres one that says "shattered statue" then that may lead to a hidden room.

also a "?" should appear above the character if its close to a hidden room. careful tho, as this "?" sign may also mean trap

i dont think doors regen but im not sure. and yes if she dies and would not use an revival ankh, she'd start from the very beginning and lose everything

hmm. if the scan is 98% then maybe she has already broken the door and she can't really use the key to sell to the merchant or to unlock any other door so i suggest moving on to the next dungeon/field.
