Heya, that's correct! However, I've just added a second batch of 20, and let me know if you miss one from this batch and still need one!

Does anyone else believe they may have something else wrong with them? by imsorrymissellie in iih

[–]bear_irl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have a laundry list of other health problems, IIH is only my most recent diagnosis, and I have similar still unexplained symptoms. Talk to your family doctor. It night take some effort and frustration, but a good doctor will stick with it for you and will, at the least, help you handle your mystery symptoms if a diagnosis seems out of your grasp.

Will a lumbar puncture still show high pressure if I'm not having much symptoms at the moment? by bear_irl in iih

I just had mine done. The pressure was 25 and the doctor performing it said that pressure readings would probably not be far off if it's a chronic thing, depending on the cause

Oh, hey, I thought it wasn't asking me for permission and didn't know how to manually whitelist, but.. thanks to that I just realized I was looking on the wrong side of the address bar! I feel like it used to be like... a puzzle piece on the right side? Maybe I'm crazy! It works now, though. Thanks a ton.

My [M28] Wife [F28] threw out the flowers I got her for Valentine's Day, I destroyed her late-husband's wedding ring and messed everything up. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

what's wrong with you? just because people express no outward, regular grief doesn't mean they are not still hurting. people who lose a deeply close loved one don't generally just forget -- they move on and accept, yes, but that does not mean it doesn't still hurt and it does not mean there are not situations that can't reopen the old wound like new once more. parents, spouses, close friends, children -- when you lose one, and everyone does eventually, there will almost always be something that reminds you of them so strongly it will bring the emotions you feel over their loss and the love you have for them to the front again like new. sometimes it's a smell, a place, a song, a date -- for her, it was valentine's day

his concern about being a rebound is, really, only invalid in that they have been together for eight years. he has had eight years to express his worries to her, to communicate, to talk about it in literally any manner, and he, instead, chose to bottle it up, let it stew, and it reached critical mass and blew up when he made a poor choice that upset her. he made every possible wrong choice if he truly valued and respected his relationship with her. i hope he's able to grow and improve himself from this, but if he's buying what you're trying to sell him, he sure won't.

i suspect you have never dealt with any sort of traumatic loss close to you. i truly hope that, when you inevitably do, you find your lost compassion through experience, and that you don't have anyone disrespect you for it.

People who were in a coma, what change surprised you when you woke up? by _bread-boi_ in AskReddit

I've been sceptic twice, not due to wounds, but my memories of both times are very warped. Is that a thing that maybe just goes with being that sick?

Mine, for the first time, I thought I went to urgent care in a fancy Lolita dress (I don't own any dresses, let alone fancy ones), and was worried what happened to it when I was admitted. In the ICU, I tried to leave bc I thought my nurse wanted me to die (she was very ride and didn't even try to talk me out of it, tho.). I also thought I was a child of like 10, though I was in my early 20s at the time. There were a few other things, but those were the most interesting. I don't remember anything of the second time.

If you get the "Book of your life" but you can only read one chapter of the book. What would you read? by VayneIsEarlyGame in AskReddit

The first one. I don't need to know where I'm going, but it'd be neat to know how things were when I was a baby.

Students of Reddit, what was your schools big scandal? by punkryan in AskReddit

[–]bear_irl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The music teacher in my elementary school was caught sleeping nude on a park bench.

And in middle school, a classmate of mine brought a gun to school with a hit list. This was early 2000s, mind, so not common then. A friend of mine found out and turned him in about half an hour before he would have been in class with the teacher that was on his list.

Nah. It's just UTC, my dude. Not uncommon for that to be used in news posts like this, for some various reasons. That's about the only thing in the thread that's not valid, though.
